The combination of ancient patterns and ornaments in modern design created an elegant and harmonious Eurasian style, embodied the unity and at the same time diversity. Traditional patterns of floral and geometric Kazakh ornaments were used in the design of the scarf. The classical patterns harmoniously interlace with the ancient Kazakh decorative amulet the "shashak", which means silk fringe tassels. Women decorated the ceiling of their houses with such a fringe, and girls braided their hair with it. According to beliefs, shashak served as a protection from sorrows and evil spirits, brought happiness and good luck.
