The word “salad” comes from the Italian “salato” meaning “something that is salted”. A specialist in making salads is called a “salad maker”, and in ancient Greece, the skill of making salads was recognized as an art.
Salads are usually served in wide plates with high walls. Our designers, together with the artist Alexandra Virch, managed to create magnificent salad plates meeting the most refined taste. The item is made of Premium Porcelain using gold decal technology and meets strict environmental safety standards. The surface of the item is not entirely framed by art painting depicting red-ripe pomegranate, as in traditional collections, but only a part of it, and this makes the salad dish to look in a luxury and modern way.
