The basis for creation of the reproduction was the work of the famous Kazakh artist Agymsaly Duzelkhanov. In the "Echo of Centuries" painting, the artist refers to the landmark event in history - the formation of the Kazakh Khanate and, in fact, the establishment of the Kazakhs as a single nation. In the middle of the 15th century, two Turkic tribes (Argyns and Kereys) under the leadership of Zhanibek and Kerey sultans, migrated from the possessions of Abulkhair Khan, the cruel and irrational ruler of the Uzbek Khanate. They fought off the troops chased them by the formidable Koblandy Batyr, and settled in Zhetysu (Semirechye). They were joined by clans, families and even individuals dissatisfied with their rulers. Soon the total number of Kazakhs reached 200 thousand people. And in 1465, in Turkestan City, Zhanibek and Kerey announced the foundation of the Kazakh Khanate. The state of the Kazakhs, of freedom-loving and free people. In the "Echo of Centuries" painting the artist Agymsaly Duzelkhanov managed to show this great event and convey the spirit of freedom inherent in the gathered people. The majestic Zhanibek and Kerey khans are in the center of the painting. They are surrounded by different people - brave warriors, wise bis, gray-bearded aksakals, inspired zhyrau, women with children. Different people, different faces, but they are all united by the spirit of freedom and will.
