Medina writing instrument is made of an ivory colored resin bars with a green marbled cap recalling the famous dome of the city, one of the most well-known symbols of Islam together with the Kaaba. The cap is decorated by a large ring with the refined pattern, in harmony with the shaft, and the clip on it, a faithful representation of one of the many columns inside Mosque of the Prophet. The shaft is made of a solid 18 carat rose gold with the method of filigree micro casting artwork and decorated with refined ornament, which is the focus of the entire pen that represents the doors of the holy chamber where the Prophet was buried. Exquisitely-filigree silver patterns with 18 carat gold plated, which decorates both the cap and the body of the instrument, became stunning distinctive element of this masterpiece from the Visconti atelier.
