The Great Steppe stretches from Altai to the Caspian Sea. In the 20th century, honourable sons laid the foundation of the Kazakh Republic. After gaining Independence in 1991, our land regained its original history and revived its historical name, becoming the Country of the Great Steppe. In all these times the people glorified their worthy sons - Batyrs, the defenders who guarded the peace and prosperity of their land. This is our land, our home. The cradle of the Kazakh people. Our ancestors defended this land and passed it on to us, their descendants. Today, worthy sons of the Fatherland continue the work of their fathers and grandfathers, defending the country and protecting the peaceful sky of our vast homeland - the land of the ancestors.
