The basis for the creation of the panel was the work by Yeraly Ospanuly, the famous Kazakh artist, depicting Korkyt Ata, the legendary for all Turkic-speaking people philosopher-thinker, poet-storyteller and composer. From his youth, he could not come to terms with the brevity of human life, and by this reason he decided to fight against the inevitable death. In search of eternal immortality and a place where people live happily, he left his native places. But while traveling, he witnessed death and suffering everywhere. Korkyt, being in torment, made the first kobyz from the wood, tightened the strings and began to play, pouring forth painful thoughts and feelings. He put his whole soul into music, and the wonderful sounds of the kobyz strings, spreading around the whole world, conquered and fascinated people. Since then, the melodies of Korkyt Ata have been wandering around the world, and his name has become immortal in the strings of kobyz and human hearts. So says the "Oguzname" folk epic. In Kazakh culture, Korkyt Ata is a luminary, a public figure who contributed to the unity of the people, a thinker who laid the foundations of the Turkic mind-set, a world-class humanist philosopher, an encourager of musicians. We really like such an iconic and legendary personality. Thanks to the 3D embossed image, Korkyt Ata seems to invade the room from the panel.
