The Khan of the Kazakh Little juz, a brave warrior, a talented politician and a diplomat, Abul Khair Khan became one of the leaders of the Kazakh militia being only in his 17. He showed exceptional courage and strong mind in defending the city of Turkestan, Sayram and Tashkent, which had been ruled by his ancestors. History keeps the memory of him being a man whose image represented courage, bravery and patriotism. All these qualities of a Great Khan in his appearance were reflected by the Honored Art Worker of Kazakhstan artist Agimsaly Duzelkhanov in his picture.
